about brydie
Brydie first heard about the concept of the shadow in a book, a book about Jung and Jungian concepts when she was a terrible teen.
Years later in conversation Shadow Work came up....and kept coming up for a couple of years before she decided to find out what this work was about and if it could help her to see why certain patterns were looping in her life...
Patterns of behaviour...in relationship to others and self...in the way she was experiencing life.
Her first experience of shadow work was in a group of women (shadow work can be practiced in specific gender/non binary group or mixed group settings) over a weekend.
Then one on one Shadow Work coaching over a couple of years.
Following that first weekend, she experienced a very real and positive shift in relationship to herself, connection to others and her sense of direction in life.
She is trained in various modalities, and has designed and hosted classes, workshops, trainings and group circles and events for over 20 years.
The creative physicality of the process balanced with the emotional and psychological insight really makes sense to her - and is touched by how profound, shame free and illuminating the work can be.
Having trained consistently in Shadow Work™ for 3 years and assisted her Mentors for that time in between trainings she now coaches Men and Women, and runs both Women's group work and mixed group work.
It is work that aligns with Brydie's approach to life..... one of creativity, joy and depth.
Outside of Shadow Work, Brydie loves movement, food, nature, music and the arts and connection - and finds life rich for these things.
